Swan Walk brings a large concentration of Horsham’s shops into one centre, with M&S, Next, H&M and Boots among the names in its current directory. Its location also makes it straightforward to continue into the surrounding town-centre shopping streets.

The centre currently advertises normal opening hours. If you have seen older reports about the summer 2026 closure, use the latest centre information when planning a visit, rather than relying on those earlier notices.

How to get to Swan Walk

Address: Swan Walk, Horsham, West Sussex, RH12 1HQ

The centre’s walking directions from Horsham station take visitors left along North Street, across the A281 into Copnall Way and then right towards the Carfax. Allow about ten minutes at the centre’s estimate, and longer if you need a slower route.

Horsham bus station is close to the centre. For driving, follow the signs for Swan Walk car park from Albion Way. The council gives its address as 3–4 Medwin Walk, RH12 1AG, which differs from the shopping centre’s postal address.

Parking costs and getting back to your car

The council’s Swan Walk parking page lists weekday and Saturday daytime rates of £2.80 for up to two hours, £4.40 for two to three hours and £5.80 for three to four hours. Longer stays cost more. Sunday and bank-holiday charges are separate; the published all-day daytime rate is £5.50.

The car park has a 1.9-metre height restriction. It operates all day and night, but the shopping-centre lifts are available only while the centre is open. Outside those hours, use the council stairs and lifts at Medwin Walk.

Toilets and accessibility

Swan Walk’s facilities information lists customer toilets near Next, including two accessible toilets, a Changing Places room and baby-changing facilities. Customer toilets are also available in M&S.

Shopmobility is on level two of the multi-storey car park. The service offers manual and powered wheelchairs for town-centre use, and advises booking: call 01403 260721. Check its hours separately from the shops. Designated disabled bays are on level two and parent-and-baby bays on level three.

Before you go

Use the right entrance after closing

A 24-hour car park does not mean 24-hour access through Swan Walk. If your visit continues into the evening, note the Medwin Walk route before leaving the car.

Questions before you visit

Can I use the centre’s hours for every store?

No. Some larger stores trade longer, and services such as the Post Office have their own hours. Check the particular shop or service before travelling.

Is there a Changing Places facility?

The centre’s current facilities page lists a Changing Places room near Next. Contact the centre before travel if you need to confirm access arrangements or availability.
