Six original cast members of The Fast Show will reunite for three Sussex performances in February 2027, with dates in Hastings, Eastbourne and Worthing.
An Evening With The Fast Show brings Simon Day, Charlie Higson, John Thomson, Paul Whitehouse, Mark Williams and Arabella Weir back together for behind-the-scenes stories and recreations of favourite moments from the television series.
The tour visits Hastings’ White Rock on 4 February, Eastbourne’s Congress Theatre on 5 February and Worthing Assembly Hall on 25 February.

What happens in the stage show?
The official tour announcement describes an evening looking at how the characters and catchphrases were created, alongside performances revisiting the material.
Names familiar to viewers include Ted and Ralph, the Suits You tailors, Competitive Dad and the character behind “Does my bum look big in this?”. The format gives the cast room to discuss the making of the programme as well as return to its comic creations.
The 2027 run follows two sold-out tours. It is an evening with the returning performers, rather than an announcement of a new television series.
Who is in the cast, and what else are they known for?
The six names on the tour also have substantial careers beyond The Fast Show. These are the performers confirmed for the 2027 production:
| Performer | Other familiar work |
|---|---|
| Paul Whitehouse | Co-star of Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing; also known for his work with Harry Enfield. |
| Charlie Higson | Fast Show co-creator and performer, and author of the Young Bond and The Enemy books. |
| John Thomson | Pete Gifford in Cold Feet, alongside his Fast Show characters and voice work. |
| Mark Williams | The title role in Father Brown, as well as his long-standing Fast Show work. |
| Arabella Weir | Beth in Two Doors Down, author and co-writer/star of Posh Nosh. |
| Simon Day | The Life Of Rock With Brian Pern, King Gary and a wide range of Fast Show characters. |
That mix brings together writers, character comedians and actors whose work has continued across television, books and live performance.
