UEFA Europa Conference League

Brighton & Hove Albion supporters hoping to follow the Seagulls to the Czech Republic, Spain or Greece in the UEFA Conference League must register their interest before tickets go on sale.

Albion will open pre-registration for their three league-phase away matches against FK Jablonec, Getafe and Panathinaikos at 9am on Tuesday 8 September.

Important note – the deadline has now passed

The registration window will remain open until midnight on Sunday 13 September. The club says any 1901 Club member, season-ticket holder or paid MyAlbion+ member who may want an away ticket must register during that period.

Registering does not commit a supporter to buying a ticket and does not necessarily guarantee one. However, Albion have made clear that supporters who want to attend one of the European away games must pre-register before the deadline.

When are Brighton’s Conference League away games?

Brighton have three trips during the six-match Conference League league phase, beginning with a journey to the Czech Republic in October.

Thursday 5 November 2026Getafe v BrightonSpain

UEFA’s confirmed league-phase schedule has Brighton travelling to Jablonec on 22 October, Getafe on 5 November and Panathinaikos for their final league-phase fixture on 17 December.

The away programme sits alongside home matches against Kauno Žalgiris on 15 October, Universitatea Craiova on 26 November and Monaco on 10 December.

Why Albion are asking supporters to pre-register

The system is intended to give the club an early indication of demand before final allocations and sales arrangements are confirmed.

Albion say supporters can register together with friends and family, although everyone included must separately qualify as a 1901 Club member, season-ticket holder or paid MyAlbion+ member.

Every supporter intending to travel needs their own fan number because tickets will ultimately be sold at one per fan number.

The club has also urged fans to look at realistic flight and travel costs before registering. The intention is to give Albion a more accurate picture of how many supporters are genuinely likely to make each trip rather than simply measuring general interest.

Pre-registration itself does not reserve a seat. Its importance comes later, when the club compares the number of registered supporters with the allocation offered by the home side.

Important

Pre-registering does not guarantee a ticket

Supporters must pre-register if they want the chance to attend, but registration alone does not guarantee a ticket. The eventual sales process will depend on Brighton’s final allocation and the number of supporters who register for each match.

How will Brighton allocate European away tickets?

If fewer people register than the number of tickets Brighton eventually receive for a match, the club says everyone who pre-registered will be guaranteed the opportunity to buy a ticket during the first sales window.

If demand exceeds the allocation, tickets will instead be released through priority windows based on loyalty points.

Season-ticket holders will receive priority ahead of MyAlbion+ members. Supporters in the first sales window will be guaranteed a ticket provided they buy within that window, while subsequent windows will be subject to availability and operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

Albion expect 5% away allocations

Brighton say they expect visiting supporters to receive allocations equivalent to about 5% of stadium capacity for the three fixtures.

The biggest immediate concern is Getafe, where Albion say they understand stadium development work is reducing capacity to around 10,000. On that basis, Brighton currently expect an away allocation of approximately 500 tickets.

That figure should be treated as an expectation rather than a confirmed final allocation. Albion say full ticket details, including sales dates, will be published once information has been agreed with the host clubs.

The size of the allocations for Jablonec and Panathinaikos has not yet been confirmed by Brighton.

Tickets will have to be collected abroad

Supporters who successfully buy tickets will face an additional requirement familiar from Albion’s previous European trips: every away ticket must be collected in person in the host city.

The club plans to establish central collection points on matchday and, where necessary, on the day before the game.

Each supporter will have to present either a passport or driving licence when collecting their ticket. Albion say there will be no exceptions to the photo-ID requirement.

Travel warning

Do not plan to arrive just before kick-off

Albion expect ticket collection points to close around two to three hours before kick-off, depending on the location and when stadium turnstiles open. Every supporter must collect their own ticket with a passport or driving licence, so flights and trains arriving close to kick-off could leave insufficient time.

The club has asked supporters to arrive for collection as early as possible.

Fans warned about return travel after matches

Albion have also asked supporters not to plan onward journeys too tightly around the final whistle.

European away fans can sometimes be held inside a stadium after home supporters have left. Brighton’s guidance tells travellers to factor the possibility of a post-match holdback into flights, trains and other connections.

That could be particularly relevant to supporters attempting to return to airports or make late-night rail connections after matches.

No transfers or refunds on away tickets

European away tickets will be subject to stricter conditions than many ordinary match tickets.

Albion say there will be no changes, transfers or refunds after an away ticket has been bought.

If a supporter can no longer travel, the ticket should be returned to the club, but no refund will be issued. The club says the policy is intended to discourage people from buying scarce away tickets unless they genuinely plan to travel.

Supporters who buy tickets but fail to collect them may also face sanctions when attempting to purchase tickets for a later European away fixture.

Another European season for Albion supporters

The three trips follow Brighton’s successful passage through the Conference League play-off round, with Albion supporters having already travelled to Tromsø during the qualifying campaign.

The league phase will now take fans to three very different destinations: Jablonec in northern Czechia, Getafe in the Madrid metropolitan area and Athens for the December meeting with Panathinaikos.

Brighton are one of 36 clubs in this season’s Conference League league phase. Each side plays six different opponents, three at home and three away.

The top eight progress directly to the last 16, while clubs finishing from ninth to 24th enter the knockout phase play-offs. UEFA has scheduled the league phase between 15 October and 17 December 2026.
