Life after The Aurator

Maverick follows Styla’s previous show, The Aurator, and turns to the demands of life around a touring career. The advertised subjects include work and home life, family influence, relationships and health.

Brighton’s October performance takes place in Komedia’s Basement, with unreserved cabaret seating. The venue gives an approximate running time of 110 minutes including an interval. It is an 18+ event.

Born and raised in London, Styla is a comedian, actor and writer whose live performances make room for exchanges with the audience. Clips of those moments have also helped him build an online following. Television viewers may recognise him from Richard Osman’s House of Games, Comedy Central Live and Don’t Hate the Playaz, while radio listeners may know his BBC Radio 4 series Tech Talk. His earlier show Green explored mental health and therapy, showing the personal material behind the audience banter.

A Brighton return in April 2027

The new Corn Exchange date gives local audiences another chance to see the tour. Its £22.50 ticket price and venue are different from the October Komedia booking. Brighton Dome members save £2 on full-price April tickets.

Ticketmaster’s sale schedule lists general booking from 10am on 9 October 2026, following presales. The April show sits outside the 2026 comedy festival.

Upcoming tour dates

The remaining UK and international dates below come from Styla’s official Maverick schedule, with the newly announced 24 April Brighton date confirmed by Brighton Dome. Listings were checked on 8 October 2026; the presence of a date does not mean tickets remain available.
