The King Gary star and Wolf & Owl co-host brings his stand-up tour to Brighton Dome Comedy Festival, with Hastings, Crawley and Worthing to follow in 2027.
Tom Davis will bring his stand-up show Spudgun to Brighton Dome’s Concert Hall on Friday 16 October 2026, with three more Sussex appearances announced for next year.
The Brighton performance falls on the opening night of Brighton Dome Comedy Festival in cahoots with Komedia, which runs from 16 to 25 October. Davis joins a programme that also includes Maisie Adam, Simon Amstell, Nish Kumar and Sam Campbell.
His visit is part of a wider UK tour, which promoter Off The Kerb has extended into 2027 because of demand. The additional dates give audiences across East and West Sussex further opportunities to see the show.

What is Spudgun about?
The title comes from a nickname Davis was given while working on building sites, before his career in comedy took off. In an interview with Beyond The Joke, he explained that the show explores the gap between other people’s assumptions about him and his own sense of who he is.
That includes the expectations attached to being a tall former labourer, alongside his reflections on approaching 50. Davis described a show built around stories, with a more settled comic voice and a willingness to be open about himself.
Television audiences will know him from King Gary, The Curse and Murder in Successville, while his film credits include Wonka and Paddington 2. He also co-hosts Wolf & Owl with Romesh Ranganathan.
Spudgun follows his debut solo tour, Underdog. According to his official biography, that earlier show was filmed at Portsmouth’s Kings Theatre and is available on Sky and NOW.
