Sharleen Spiteri in promotional artwork for Texas’s 2027 tour

Texas will bring their White On Blonde 30th anniversary tour to Brighton Centre on Tuesday 26 October 2027, with fellow Scottish band Del Amitri joining them as special guests.

General sale opens at 10am on Friday 30 October 2026. The Brighton concert is part of a UK, Ireland and European run celebrating the 1997 album alongside hits from across the band’s career.

Why White On Blonde matters

The album marked a turning point for the band fronted by Sharleen Spiteri. Their fourth studio record went to number one in the UK, combining pop songwriting with soul and trip-hop influences at a time when Britpop dominated much of the conversation.

Say What You Want, Halo, Black Eyed Boy and Put Your Arms Around Me are among the songs associated with the record. Its six-times-platinum UK certification gives some measure of how widely it travelled beyond the band’s existing audience.

The anniversary also comes with new music. Another Way To Cry accompanies the expanded release, with the band’s official website carrying the anniversary formats and tour announcements.

Who is supporting Texas?

Del Amitri are confirmed as special guests on the UK and Ireland leg. Their catalogue includes Nothing Ever Happens, Roll To Me and Driving With The Brakes On, giving this date a second familiar songbook alongside the headline anniversary.

The support billing covers Brighton, rather than simply selected dates elsewhere on the tour.
