Marti Pellow will celebrate 40 years in music at Brighton Centre on Thursday 16 September 2027, bringing his No Marti No Party tour to the Sussex seafront.
The concert will draw on songs from his years with Wet Wet Wet and his solo career. General sale opens at 10am on Friday 30 October 2026, with the Brighton show confirmed as an all-seated event.

What is No Marti No Party?
The tour is billed as a celebration of four decades of music, with the audience central to the occasion. Explaining the title in the venue announcement, Pellow said: “The clue is in the title of the tour, it’s what the fans always sing back to me when the lights go down.”
The Brighton date forms part of a UK run beginning in Nottingham in August and ending at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro in October. Doors are listed for 6pm in Brighton; that is the admission time, with the performance schedule still to be detailed.
From Wet Wet Wet to the West End
Pellow first became known as the singer in Wet Wet Wet, the band he formed with school friends. His musical background also has a strong connection with Memphis soul: the group worked with producer Willie Mitchell, and Pellow returned to Memphis when making his debut solo album Smile.
His official biography charts a parallel career in theatre. He played lawyer Billy Flynn in Chicago, with appearances in the West End, on tour and on Broadway, before taking on roles including the Narrator in Blood Brothers and Che in Evita.
He also performed the Arbiter in the Royal Albert Hall concert staging of Chess, and Daryl Van Horne in The Witches Of Eastwick. Those roles help explain why his following extends beyond listeners who first encountered him through Wet Wet Wet.
The 2027 concert announcement focuses on band and solo favourites. It does not set out a musical-theatre programme or a confirmed song list.
