What can visitors expect?
The organiser’s programme combines independent stalls with food, children’s activities and live entertainment. The organiser’s current preview names makers across ceramics, woodwork, design and home fragrance, alongside small food producers.
Which makers and food traders are announced?
The exhibitor preview names Juliet Walters Ceramics, Madeleine Smith Paper Sculpture, Skinner Designs’ handmade wooden chopping boards and Boucle home fragrances. Bianca Williams Design, Gabriella Casemore, Frankie Brown and Sabi & Soul are also featured. That gives visitors a starting point for browsing, rather than treating the 120-plus stall count as a guarantee that every stall sells the same sort of gift.
Food and drink names shown on the fair’s programme include Beaufort & Barley, Snug Cookies, Bon Vivant, Orange Beach Bars and Seashore Bakes. The fair also advertises children’s crafts, face painting and live entertainment. Individual maker attendance and activity times should be checked against the weekend programme, particularly if one trader is the reason for travelling.
The building is part of the attraction: stalls occupy the historic Engineerium setting, including the mezzanine. Browsing those fair areas is not the same as joining a guided museum tour with the engines in steam. The organiser links a separate tour booking page; its tour time and price should be chosen independently of any optional fair queue-jump ticket.
Free fair entry and museum tours are separate
A queue-jump ticket is optional. It does not include admission to the Engineerium museum. Guided tours with the engines in steam are booked separately through the Engineerium using the link on the event page.
Decide whether you want to browse the fair or also take a museum tour before booking, so you buy the appropriate ticket.
Access and travel
There is no on-site parking. The organiser identifies the 5B as the closest bus route; check current services with Brighton & Hove Buses.
The indoor mezzanine is reached by stairs and has no step-free access. The outdoor makers’ marquee is described as accessible, and accessible toilets are on the ground floor. Dogs are not permitted on site.
