What is Legally Blonde about?
Elle heads to Harvard hoping to win back Warner, whose plans for a legal career apparently leave no room for their relationship. Her arrival brings scepticism from classmates and lecturers, who underestimate her before she has begun.
New friendships and demanding coursework give Elle reasons to stay beyond her original romantic ambitions. The musical follows her efforts to earn respect without abandoning her personality.
The stage show adapts the film starring Reese Witherspoon, with a book by Heather Hach and music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin. Nikolai Foster directs this production, with choreography by Leah Hill.
